After cancelling the session they had scheduled last September, Tamarindo Patio Bar and Nita Funk have set a new date for the session that the DJ from Alicante will perform at the Plaza Mayor/ Calle Arcedianos venue: next Friday 11 October from 11pm. Inspired by the sounds of funk, disco and soul, Nita Funk is a passionate musician with a great musical culture, which she demonstrates in her sessions. Elegant house, funky-house, nu-disco and soulful notes come out of his decks, where he masterfully integrates enveloping electronic and deep sounds.
Its trajectory reflects a dynamic and ever-evolving character. He was a resident at Bugatti 80’s (Alicante) and Macao Lounge (Altea), and among the various spaces to which he has taken his characteristic style, emblematic venues such as Z-klub (Alicante), Desafinado (Alicante), Isla Marina (Alicante), Chandon (Alicante), Chic Beach (Playa Albufereta), El Hall (Alicante), Mint (Alicante), Life Beach (Arenales del Sol), Cocoon (Altea), Sultana (Elche), Gaudí (Alcoy), Sundance (Space Benalmadena), La Room (Benalmadena), La Room (Benalmadena) and Elche (Elche), Life Beach (Arenales del Sol), Cocoon (Altea), Sultana (Elche), Gaudí (Alcoy), Sundance (Space Benidorm), La Room (Benidorm) and others such as La Muralla (Murcia), La Oveja Negra (Murcia), El Jardín (Vejer de la Frontera, Cádiz), Lario’s Café (Madrid), Cotton Beach (Ibiza) and in Vanity Club Casablanca – Morocco).
He has also participated in renowned events such as Vocal Booth Weekender, the most important one held in Spain and promoted by the renowned DJ Andy Ward; Housebox with Kebra Dj, Álvaro Villa, Ramón López and Baby J; the 8th anniversary of Bee Live World with DJ Bee, Silvia Zaragoza and Soulution4Funk; Elx Spring Festival, Le Son Chic, BEME (Black & Electronic Music Event, an event promoted by Barcelona DJ Khu and Ambiguous, with Alex and Adam Kharas at the helm. She is the promoter of Studio Chic with Dj Fahim C and producer and vocalist Soulfeenix, Soulfeenix’s funky music project, disco and live performances.
He currently promotes and plays with Kebra DJ the Vinyl Choice party, an event where funky, disco and early house music is the main focus and where they play exclusively on vinyl, with the collaboration of various musicians such as the percussionists Izhar and Pakito Baeza, the violinist Herbert Pérez and the vocalist Janyssha Lyon.
Tamarindo Patio Bar starts the 2019/ 2020 season with a strong bet, an elegant DJ who knows how to give her sessions personality, filling the rooms with energy and creativity. He will also be playing for the first time in Galicia.
